In 1999 Jimmy
Davis was awarded the coveted National Quality Dealer
of the Year award. Every year one dealer out of the entire
country is chosen to represent NIADA as the example of
Outstanding Quality.
This award is based on service to customers, community, and
the automotive industry.
Jimmy believes in a strong family bond. He is actively
involved in his church, and has sponsered Little League Baseball in
his community.
Jimmy is a past president of the
Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association, VIADA.
Jimmy is proud to be an Independent Auto Dealer and it
is evident in his family, customers, staff, sales facility,

Gail has handled the accounting and computer
work for Davis Auto Sales for over 30 years while working an outside fulltime job.
Gail and Jimmy work as a team at home and at work. Gail is now retired from a 37 year career
as a lead technology analyst for a large international company. She has enjoyed many successes
in this career and her commitment to this company is worth noting. Now Gail is spending her days
at the dealership taking over many new responsibilities. As Vice President of our Corporation,
she is a big part of the company's positive growth. Gail has served as President of the
Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association District 2 Chapter and Vice President
at the State level. Gail has been selected as VIADA State Quality dealer of the year.

A Certified Master Dealer, a CMD®, is a professional automobile dealer
who has demonstrated their commitment to the used motor vehicle industry, to
consumers and who supports ethical business standards and principles. They
have met the rigid criteria that qualify them as a candidate for the
certification program developed by the National Independent Automobile
Dealers Association and Northwood University. |

The CMD®
dealer has successfully completed a 32 hour training program that includes
general management strategies, financial management principles, successful
merchandising techniques, effective human resource practices, and
appropriate business planning. They maintain their professional
certification by completing at least 12 hours of continuing education every
36 months.

The first son,
JW has shown great interest in the auto
sales business since he was a child. He has grown up in
and around the operation. His desire and his youthful
energy are the key ingredients for his success so far in
the company. He oversees and manages the sales side of the
business and Off-Road Shop. Always extremely busy, he will find
time to help you pick out the perfect vehicle or get you the parts
you need to build one the way you want it. He also
excels in his job as purchasing agent. JW displays confidence and a
willingness to work with our customers and vendors. Courteousness,
honesty and willingness to help are the traits required of an employee
and he has all of these and more. JW is a valuable part of Davis Auto Sales. |

Brian, the middle son, has been working in the business since December 1998. He takes his job seriously and performs any task given to him quickly and efficiently. We have great confidence in our finished product knowing Brian has given it the safety and mechanical OK. Brian worked as a mechanic for his Uncle in his auto repair business prior to joining the Davis Auto Sales Team. He gained valuable knowledge there and has always exhibited a great mechanical ability. With Brian on board Davis Auto Sales can offer quality service by making needed repairs prior to the sale and occasionally warranty related items after the sale. Brian proves to be a valuable asset to Davis Auto Sales. One can foresee a challenging and rewarding future ahead for him and our company. Brian has always loved to create and fabricate. Daniel is the youngest of the three boys and started working at the dealership part-time, while attending high school. Daniel is continuing his education at John Tyler Community College in the evenings, but you can still find him working every available moment at Davis & Sons Auto Service creating those trucks on the Davis Creations webpage. Daniel works to put together the awesome monster street trucks you see offered for sale at Davis Auto Sales. Daniel proves to be a valuable asset to Davis Auto Sales and Davis and Sons Auto Service. There is a bright future ahead for Daniel because of his mechanical ability and his knowledge of lifted trucks.

Our customers remark to us regularly about how clean our inventory looks. Walter is, in large part the reason for that. We shine because Walter makes us shine. Walter has been with Davis Auto Sales since February, 2005. Walter is a pleasure to work with, he puts his heart into every cleanup. Walter knows how to get the best appearance out of every vehicle he touches.

Beccah joined us in July, 2005 as receptionist to help ease the workload for the summer months. She did such a good job, working for the summer, we decided to keep her as receptionist permanently. She is polite and courteous to our customers. Beccah is the pleasant voice you will hear when you call us at Davis Auto Sales. Beccah is, ready and willing to help in any way possible.

Jonathan Kuda joined Davis Auto Sales in November, 2007 as a part-time employee after school and days off from school. Jonathan is a Senior honor student at Thomas Dale High School and is active in Football and Soccer at Thomas Dale. Jonathan is working in our shop doing whatever tasks he is given by our 4-wheel drive specialists. We are pleased to have Jonathan on our team.
